The Biggest Technology Trends In The Next 10 Years

The Biggest Technology Trends In The Next 10 Years

In 10 years, we’ll be half way through the next decade. And if the previous 10 years have been anything to go by, we can expect some radical changes.

I’m used to writing about where technology trends are heading in the future, but I usually focus on the next one to five years. This is because my work involves helping businesses use technology and data today, and that usually means leveraging what’s available right now or just around the corner.

But it’s also interesting to sometimes think about where it’s all heading. So here I want to try and peek a bit further into the future and come up with some ideas or predictions about how technology might change our lives on a longer timescale.

Of course, anything can happen in 10 years. It’s very possible that unforeseeable disruptive

40 Years Ago, a Wild Sci-Fi Movie Predicted a Life-Changing Scientific Invention

Douglas Trumbull is best known as Hollywood’s special effects guru. From 1968’s 2001: A Space Odyssey and 1982’s Blade Runner, he brought the fantastical visions of other writers and directors life. But in 1983, Trumbull tried making a movie of his own — and stumbled upon a bizarre branch of science that’s just now coming to fruition.

Brainstorm revolves around a pair of scientists — Drs. Michael Brace (Christopher Walken) and Lillian Reynolds (Louis Fletcher) — who engineer a revolutionary technology capable of recording someone’s thoughts, emotions, and sensations.

In what would likely raise eyebrows to an internal review board, the scientists and their lab members test the new technology among themselves. Brace, Reynolds, and others (including silver screen darling Natalie Wood, who plays Brace’s estranged wife Karen) share experiences and past memories, which are captured on something akin to a VHS tape and played through a headset to

Mobile Techology

Al Khateeb highlighted the flexibility of time and space provided by mobile applications to students and stated that students are more successful in mathematics when used in mobile applications. The researchers stated that the students found the game-based teaching using mobile devices enjoyable and highlighted the need to produce content to support academic development. Supporting environments outside the classroom with mobile technologies can increase students’ success in focusing on digital relations (McMullen et al., 2019). In addition, augmented reality applications can help understand abstract concepts by converting abstract information into concrete objects or visualizing phenomena that are not suitable for students to access (Bujak et al., 2013). The use of teaching models in teaching processes makes learning more effective and contributes to the learning of skills and concepts that cannot be learned with traditional teaching styles .
