Sustainability Free Full-Text Mobile Learning in Higher Education: A Systematic Literature Review
Zacharia et al. found that students using mobile devices had higher gains in a science conceptual test than did the students who learned the content using traditional methods. Song et al. showed that mobile technology assists learning, and it can help students personalize learning on different topics, such as the life cycles of the butterfly. Mobile apps can cover a wide range of scientific topics and allow students to explore concepts, conduct virtual experiments, and deepen their understanding of scientific principles. Examples include apps for chemistry, physics, biology, astronomy, and environmental science. To combat against COVID-19 pandemic, a global health movement developed a campaign with a mission to educate people worldwide regarding SARS-CoV-2 and a way to protect them from this virus.
