Mobile technologies play a central role in Industry 4.0, as manufacturers adopt initiatives that introduce mobile innovations to their operations. Mobility is crucial for production managers working on the manufacturing floor. Mobile devices like phones, tablets, and handheld scanners are actively used to gather technical data for all operations. The adoption of mobile technology empowers manufacturing staff to access real-time data effortlessly for instant analysis and decision-making. End-users, on the other hand, will require devices with powerful batteries in order to access high-end services without delayor disruption.

Of 621 articles since 1987 extracted, where 554 articles were published in 2007 or after (89% of all extracted articles) and 606 articles were published in 2000 or after (98% of extracted articles). Mobile technology related articles emerged in 1995 while 10 articles published between 1987 and 1994 were selected based on keywords related to new technology and information technology. A structural model has been developed and tested on two samples of science education teachers, one from Romania and the other from Lithuania. Note that Thompson et al. pointed out that social influence within UTAUR is similar to SN within TRA or TPB. Therefore, this study adopted SN as the only determinant of social influence factors.
